It is important that we keep you informed of the information the school has received from Public Health England with reference to corona virus. This is an ever evolving situation and we are anticipating regular updates and advice from the Department for Education and Public Health England which we will continue to share with you as necessary.
Department for Education Corona Virus helpline. The DFe have launched a new helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows:

On 12th March, the Prime Minister confirmed that the government’s response to COVID-19 is now in the Delay phase – the second phase in the government’s corona virus action plan. Please click the link below for more information
Stay at home if you have corona virus symptoms
Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service if:
- you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
- your condition gets worse
- your symptoms do not get better after 7 days
Advice from Public Health England continues to be for education and children’s social care settings to remain open, unless advised otherwise.
