Breakfast club and After School club

It is important that pupils get a good start to their day so at Thornton we have a fantastic Breakfast Club. This gives parents/carers that extra precious time to get to work knowing that their child has had a full nutritious breakfast, relaxing social time with their friends and some fun!

The Breakfast Club is run by Miss C Townsend and Mrs Nichols, every day from 7.45 am until 8.50 am.

Please note that children should be in Breakfast Club no later than 8.15am as this has an impact on the breakfast schedule.

Cost: £4.00 attendance and £1extra for breakfast.

The £4.00 goes towards new materials, toys and equipment for the Breakfast Club and the £1.00 goes to the kitchen to purchase the food.

The breakfast is  nutritional and very reasonably priced. The children get a choice of: cereal, porridge (in Winter), a selection of other items like toast etc and a choice of hot and cold drinks. Any child can attend from Reception to Year 6, please contact the office to discuss this further on 01274 833839.

The Platform is run by Mrs. Duffy and Mrs. Freear, every day from 3:15pm until 6pm.

Pricing is

£8.50 – 3:15pm up until 5pm (includes a light tea)

£10.50 – 3:15pm up until 6pm (includes a light tea)
